《工程索引》（美国EI检索）核心发表
《工程索引》（The Engineering Index，简称EI）是美国工程信息公司（Engineering information Inc.）出版的著名工程技术类综合性检索工具。收录文献几乎涉及工程技术各个领域。例如：动力、电工、电子、自动控制、矿冶、金属工艺、机械制造、管理、土建、水利、教育工程等。它具有综合性强、资料来源广、地理覆盖面广、报道量大、报道质量高、权威性强等特点。EI 录入的文章都代表着权威与高质量。所以EI被称为全球核心，被每个国家认可。一般用作：硕士毕业、博士毕业、评副教授、评正教授、评高级工程师使用。作者在国际会议或者国际杂志上发表论文被EI收录后，国内一些权威机构可以出具EI收录证书给作者。
《工程索引》 Ei Compendex是全世界最早的工程文摘来源。Ei Compendex数据库每年新增的50万条文摘索引信息分别来自5100种工程期刊、会议文集和技术报告。Ei Compendex收录的文献涵盖了所有的工程领域，其中大约22%为会议文献，90%的文献语种是英文。Ei公司在1992年开始收录中国期刊。1998年Ei在清华大学图书馆建立了Ei中国镜像站。
EI除作为检索工具外还是国际论文最重要的统计源之一，是对理工科高等院校和工程研究院所学术水平评价的重要依据。作者文章在我们这里发表在国际EI会议上后，3-6个月内文章会被美国的EI数据库全文收录（全英文版文章），这时作者可以登陆EI数据库检索到自己的文章。当文章已经可以在EI网上检索到的时候，这时为了方便国内作者，我们委托教育部科技查新站给作者出具认证报告，也就是一份被EI全文收录的索引页与证明，加盖公章。 这个就是EI检索证书，具有教育部的官方性质。我们免费给我们的作者提供。我们不收取费用。
